I’m having a problem with one of the chips is missing, if someone can help me telling me what is the name or the readings value measured with a multimeter of the chip. The chip that I’m talking about is the one on the bottom of the heated bed with an “R29” next to it.

I will look for you as soon as I get back home from work. If no one else responds by then.

Do you have the schematics for your system? “R” usually designates a resistor. Not all resistors are populated. Or it may be populated on some boards. You really need to check if it should be there.

I believe that is missing that because the Dreamer indicates me that the sensor of temperature of the heating bed isn’t working and I all ready double checked the wires, the conections, parameters of reading and its all okey except of that part

There is solder on the pads for R29 so it does look like it has been knocked off. An educated guess is that it is the thermistor that senses the temperature since the other components are just for signal filtering. Unfortunately these things are seldom marked so iy would be difficult to figure out what value and type to use. Someone could measure theirs with an ohmeter to give you a hint and then heat it up and measure it again to see if it is a PTC or NTC.

All in all I would strongly recommend you to contact FlashForge and have them send you a new board.

Ok bud, it is a platinum chip SMD temperature sensor. I attached the spec sheet. I’m not sure what model you need. I am looking for more info.

Looks like I do have one. Good luck replacing, shouldn’t be too difficult.
