Can someone help me with calibrating my hatchbox alpha. I have been printing on it for a couple of weeks no problem buta coulpe days ago it began to lift at the edges showing what many call the bowl effect. Hatchbox support has been a bit rude to me telling me I do not understand basic geometry. Honestly Delta are not basic the geometry is quite complex. I need help knowing how to calibrate it and rid myself of the bowl

Please Help

If you are on windows check out openDACT, it is an automatic calibration tool.

You are using in at your own risk though.

My Hatchbox didn’t work quite right from the day I got it so I am constantly messing around with it trying to get it right. The openDACT is the latest I found and it seems like a great tool, I just didn’t have a chance to try it yet, I mean, I ran a calibration, but it was too late at night and I didn’t print any tests.

Before you use the tool, make sure everything is tightened and your belts are not flapping around too much, I’ve heard that the joints can become loose after a while and you need to re-tighten them once in a while. Mine never had a chance to come loose because I didn’t print more than just a failed test prints lol.

How do you download open DaCT? I can’t figure it out on github

Follow this link:

for the diadonal rod enter 356.5, at least that’/ how long mine are.

Did you get it to work?

Is that in your alpha?

I’m still working on it I haven’t gotten a chance yet cause of work and school

I feel you! Same here…

Yes, I measured it myself and also that’s what stock factory settings from Hatchbox were.

I know that some other person at Repetier forum has the same setting.
