How do I remind customers to confirm they have picked up their order? And should I ask them to leave a review? Wish the payout duration was shorter.

Personally speaking, I shy away from asking customers to do stuff. It’s like when apps on my phone ask me to leave them a review - to me its a nuisance. My advice would be to make the customers happy enough by exceeding their expectations so they want to leave a review behind.

Yeah, I see your point. But they should atleast remember to confirm the pickup, right?

Depends on the customer but I wouldn’t expect it. Generally speaking once people have their stuff and they are happy, they are gone like the wind.

this is even a pain when you ship with trackable shipping where it can be documented that they got the print

When I receive an order I’m probably going to say something along the lines of “don’t forget ,after receiving the model, to leave a review! :-)”

Most of my customers I meet in person, and when they ask what’s next, I reply that they should confirm pickup. They normally whip out their phone and do it then and there. A few don’t. Eventually the money comes in. I don’t worry about it.

I never ask for a review. You never know, it could be a double-edged sword. :slight_smile:
