I am in the middle of building a gigantic 2 cubic meter 3D printer, ad it’s going surprisingly well. I have some basic questions about putting the electronics together.
- I have 14 NEMA 17 motors that need 4 volts, 1 amp each. Can I simply hook them up to a solderable plastic breadboard connected to a power supply like one of these without damaging the motors, transformer, or burning up the little board?? What power would I need to get? (5V, 12V, 24V, and 1a, 2a, 5a, 15a, 20a, 25a, 30a, etc?)
- I am using an Azteeg X3 Pro with a 12v 20a LED light strip power supply. It has 3 power inputs. Where do I plug what power supply into? Do I really need 3 power supplies? (The wiring diagram is attached)

Some more questions:
- How would I hook up 14 fans (1 for each motor- I have already bought them and the heatsinks, so don’t tell me they’re not needed : ) ), two PC fans (to cool down board/ other electronics), and 4 extruder fans for my Kraken quad extruder?
- How would I power 8, yes, 8, silicon heater pads for a gigantic heated bed made out of an aluminum panel?
So far the project has cost around $734. I expect it to end up at around $1000, as I’m almost done. I will release all files when I get there!!

You might want to check what the breadboard is rated for, otherwise… i have ran steppers ovee there rated voltage, you just have to dial in the current on your drivers. Im curious what direction you went with for your rails? Type, size, ? Would you be willing to share source? Im building a 2ft wide printer
