I got a Geeetech A10 a few months back and have just never been able to get it to produce a clean print with the exception of the demo dog model that comes pre-loaded on the memory card. I’ve tried leveling the bed, reducing the print speed considerably, reducing jerk to almost 0, increasing and decreasing flow, adjusting wall and fill thickness up and down, filament retraction, bed and head temperatures, etc. Tried two different filaments from two different brands. I’ve also tried both Geeetech’s software as well as Cura.

I get varying levels of fail, but the closest I get is in the picture below. It’s adhering to the bed, and sometimes gets the first few passes fairly clean. But within a few print layers it’ll skip in places and be blobby in others. If I let it run a little longer, the print starts to get diagonal zebra stripes across the print that result in very weak walls. I feel like I’m really close to the right answer, but after spending hours Googling for the answer I can’t find a solution that works for me, and get the sneaking suspicion more experienced 3d printer folks may know exactly what’s wrong at a quick glance.

Any suggestions?
