I can’t get a good scan. Either it’s flat from the standard reprocessing, or its poor detail in the pro reprocessing. Is there any way to get a nice detailed, accurate scan?

Hi,

You need to use Solutionix 3D Scanner, then you can have the amazing details.

Usually, people charge for one scan about £30

wich scanner do you have?

I have 2 Fuel3D scanners. I was advised that the best way to get facial scans was to take 2 synchronous scans and stitch them. You have to use 2 computers, since the software won’t allow 2 in one. Anyway, my issue is with the processing as in my original post.

I don’t have much to add about the fuel 3D, but from my experience a flat scan is due to the angle of the camera to the light source is incorrect.

The Fuel3d has the lights built in. My question is; is there anybody out there using a Fuel3d that is able to get a nice head scan made from multiple stitched scans?

i have a 3d sense scanner, and if you configure the options of the scanner you can change the presets, so you may work better, its something similar to frames per second in video or fotography, that should make an improvement at the moment of scanning…

Witch object do you want to scan?
