Hi I just bought one of these printers and I am trying to set it up.
I have assembled everything and everything is ok however when I go to print the printing happens in the air - about 15mm above the print bed. The homing function seems to leave the nozzle about 5 mm above the print bed.
I have tried modifying the firmware using the manual attached named “Auto Bed Leveling” and I have set the bed to Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -0.6
it doesnt seem to change anything
what am I doing wrong?

Been having the same issues with mine. tbh i’m regretting buying the printer but there is a place i pick my filament up so next time i go i’m gonna ask them to try sort it for me and if i have any luck i’ll post a copy of the audion/gcode (it’ll be for simplify3D) and hoe it helps others. Also the auto leveller seems to be more hasle than its wrth

To anyone who finds this post in the future: The ‘problem’ I was having wasn’t actually a problem it seemed like it was as the nozzle didn’t end in the right spot however when the print starts the nozzle goes closer to the bed. There are many other people with similar issues and I found the best support for all this stuff is on the formbot facebook forum. There are hundreds of people on there with formbots and have helped me with many many issues. Enjoy the new printer!
