Hello I have built the flsun delta 3d printer, and I have a few issues with it:
1. The display is on but blank. The backlight for the display is on whenever I turn on the printer, but when I cick it, it makes a noise, just no data is showing up on the display. I am also having the same issue with my folger tech 2020 i3. I have tried everything I could find on the internet, sub buying replacement motherboards etc. I have tried switching the order of the cords, tried a different display altogether, and re-uploaded marlin. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
2. The other issue is that the printer will start printing about 10mm above the print bed. I can operate the printer from Cura and Repetier host, so I can print, and since the display isn’t working I can’t test printing with an sd card…I can manually lower the print head through cura or Repetier host to the desired location, but when I start printing, it will always start 10-15mm above the print bed. All dimensions are set up properly, and it is printing fine in mid air…
3. How could I run auto-calibrate through software? Maybe that could help establish where the bed is. (G29 for g-code does nothing.)
I am running the printer through an asus vivobook x202e and an iMac with i7. Any help on these issues would be greatly appreciated. And if anybody knows why both my displays are blank please let me know. I am fairly new to delta printers, I have been primarily dealing with i3s, built 5+ of them, it seems like the knowledge from cartesian don’t necessarily translate to deltas.
