Hey everything. Thanks in advance for your time!
Project: I’m designing an RC rock crawler and for fun, I want the center drivetrain to be belt driven. With the exception for the driveshafts, I want everything to be 3D printed, including the belt. I know there are other configurations but I want a belt just to be unique and different lol.
Problem: I’ve only printed in PLA, ABS, and just started into PETG. Do any of you know a good nylon filament I could use for the belt? The belt dimensions are 160ish teeth, Module 1, 20 deg angle, and herringbone style teeth. I’m mostly interested in a type of nylon unless someone else has a better suggestion?
Thanks
That’s going to be a tough one. I don’t know if nylon will work. I might look at ninja-flex or some of the other very flexible materials but they bring their own printing challenges. Interesting though.

You should look for a PCTPE I guess,
