Hi, I have been looking through the forums, but I can’t seem to find anything similar to what’s been happening to my printer. When I attempt to calibrate, the head starts hammering into the “front” a couple of times at the start. When I print, the z-axis seems too high, but accoring to the calibrations it should be fine. It only sprays filmant on the board. I am at a complete loss asto what I can do at this point.

Finder?

Hi,

maybe the x-axis is out of angle?

Which side is “hammering” into the front?

Check the connectors of the “end-switches”. Check the switches. It seems that the printer is doesn’t know the correct position of the head and the bead.

Make a factory reset on the printer.

If nothing helps write me more information and maybe some photos…

Good luck

The switches react when they touch. It simply seems like it thinks it can go further on the y or x axis(not sure) and then hits the wall several times. When I print it starts to move towards the walls as well.

Yes, it’s a finder

You should check that your end stops is correctly positioned so you get a click on every axis. Sometimes they go out of position and they will have a hamering effect on that axis.
