In about 25% of the print jobs that I attempt, my flashforge inventor II (essentially a flashforge finder) will fail during the printing because the print head will attempt to move passed the limit in either the x or y direction. When this happens, the entire printer vibrates and makes a loud noise as the print head continues to bang against the mechanical boundary in the x or y direction.
I can’t figure out why this is occurring. At first I thought it may have been due to the printer being connected to my PC via USB during printing, so I started disconnecting the printer from my PC after the file is transferred. This didn’t help at all.
Any ideas what might be the problem? Please help.
