Hey there…

Our Flashforge, everytime we try to set off a print, even tried and tested ones, or try to set the printhead to ‘Home’ it tries to push past the end stop and judders till we switch it off.

Any ideas, or has it gone plain nuts.

It’s only a few months old, still using the filaments that came with it

Was it fine and just started, I am guessing? If so check the cables to the stepper motors. Swap them around and see if it helps or changes anything. I just had one go bad and it did the same thing except it also did it mid print. This is not a visual inspection.

Swap Endstop cables to see if the problem moves to the other endstop.

It is most likely the cable or the endstop has gone bad.

I agree, most likely the end stop is bad. If not, then it would be your logic board going.

ALL FIXED…yep, it was the End stop switch that was the problem.

Thanks everyone who threw in their thoughts

What a shame Flashforge don’t do a nice simple troubleshooting page
