Hi i’m new to 3d printer world and looking to buy my first printer.
After hours of reading i think i can narrow my options to these two models, i know the differences like two extruders against one and so on but, i would like to hear from the experience of you guys.
I’m looking for best print quality and big size object
Hi @surferj, I strongly recommend checking the 3D Printer Guide, which was put together based on the 3D printing experiences of the Hubs. You can read all the reviews for both these 2 printers:
hope this helps!

I own a witbox and I’m very happy with it. Let me know if you have questions or you want more information on it.

Thanks! already done that, but still I don’t know which to choose that’s why I would like to hear from the experienced users of these two models
hi Pieter!, do you think the lack of dual extruder it’s a drawback for the witbox? or you can live without it. another thing i have on mind is to wait or not for the new witbox 2 that comes out in late november.

I have another printer with dual extrusion capability and I almost never use it. The dual extrusion looks fine on paper but has very limited practical applications. On top of that, calibrating both extruders and their alignment is a real pain in the *.
I didn’t know that Witbox has planned an update of their printer. On first look, it doesn’t seem to be much different than the first version. Yes, the auto-calibration is nice, but not something I miss on the first model (I calibrate it once every 10 prints or so). Also, the extruder and stepper motor mechanism seems to be identical. If there’s anything I would add to the Witbox, it’s a heated bed. If it would have a heated bed, it would be the perfect low-cost desktop printer for me.
Hello,
I have both printers. BQ definitely is a better quality printer. The 2 extruders sometimes can be an advantage. Most of the time I see prints based on 1 extruder. You can also find everything about the BQ in our webshop www.3DFutura.be. An alternative is Wanhao Duplicator 5S mini if you are looking for a big size printer or a Duplicator 4S if you are looking for dual extrusion. Best Regards, Dirk
