I’ve recently ran into a problem with my flashforge creator pro 3d Printer. The print quality has taken a sudden drop. In the attached picture, you can view a fan mount I printed. The quality isn’t horrible, but it’s not where i want it to be. I’m thinking it could be a loose belt issue?
Which material are you using??? could be your problem, it is a cheap one?? I got a good results with matterhackers, they have a good quality mat, at a cheap prices. If you can share the settings are you using could be better.
I personally print pla at 50c bed for first layer only and print at 205c 215c seems really hot especially if your using the default fan and fan tube right now… try to cool it down and maybe slow down your speed… you have some ringing which leads me to believe it was printed at a fairly high speed… I don’t know if you use both extruder but if you don’t remove the right extruder assembly. Reducing weight on the carriage will allow you to print faster while reducing ringing. But if you don’t want to take that step tweaking your settings is a good place to start. Also depending on your print hours you may need to lube up a bit.
Thanks for your reply! I will try to turn down the temps. The cooling fan seems to be running okay from what I can see. I used slic3r to slice this object and It was printed at .2 layer height. My printing speeds: Perimeters: 42mm/s Infill: 60mm/s Solid Infill: 20mm/s Travel Speed: 90mm/s First layer: 25mm/s
