I havent’ used my flashforge creator pro in about 8 months (although I’ve kept it clean consistently). Having come back to it, it will no longer level. The right side of the print bed seems to be fine and adjustable (I can get the right distance from the extruder to the print bed) but both the left and the front of the bed will not adjust.
I’ve tightened the front and left screws to their maximum - I can physically no longer tighten them, but the extruders still drag along the bed when leveling (to the point of ripping the paper Im using to adjust)
Any ideas? Has the printer bed warped due to lack of use? Should I warm up the bed and see if its more flexible?
First check you z limit switches if it is working. Next, check your z offset on your printer settings, it might be set to high. Lastly, I suggest for you to use the glass mod, there are a lot of videos out there on how to do it. Besides, glass never warps. Good luck.
3Dprintwiz is probably right about the z axis switch, perhaps it is loose or out of adjustment and just not engaging the frame at the back properly. You could also use the 3mm shim from the glass plate kits, if you still can print on the right side of the bed or have another printer to make one. Good luck.
There’s a nut inside the spring that’s probably worked its way down the screw and is stopping the wing nut from coming up further. I’d recommend unscrewing all three wing nuts and lifting the print bed off the platform, and tightening the nut against the print bed. You can put lock-tite on the nut to keep it from coming loose again, then putting it back together.
Look at the spacing between the under side of the bed and the platform. Is it different from left to right? Is there anything like the cable under the bed that is obstructing the beds movement downward?
