Howdy,

First time poster. I have a flash Forge Dreamer that I have been using for a few months now. After the last update I noticed that the printer wasn’t competing the layer in one shot. Originally it would start in one corner and go til that layer was finished. Now it is starting in the middle and printing in sections. It will do 10-15 rows and then reset to a different location to continue.

It always knows where the previous rows were laid and it never overlaps itself but what i have noticed is that my bottom layer isn’t staying together because of this. It comes undone and breaks away after the print is removed from the tray. Does any one know what’s up with this or have experience correcting it?

I am using flash print. I have not removed all the software and reinstalled it yet, but I am working on that now. My only other thought was firmware but I don’t know how to clear that and reinstall.

Flashprint is what gives the printer the commands (gcode). I would be willing to bet that the latest update of Flashprint has caused this, not the printer firmware. You could install a previous version of Flashprint to attempt to correct it. Also, have you tried previewing the print layers in the preview pane of Flashprint to see if it shows what is going on? I keep an old version of Flashprint around in case I run into issues so I can share it with you as well. Link Here 3. Hope it helps.

I am using flash print. I am hoping to print a small file shortly to see what happens. I did a complete uninstall of all flash print software and installed the latest version.
