Hey everyone.

I am having a tough time figuring out why my axis co-ords are all messed up.

Before I start I am running the FF Creator Pro with Dual Extruders; Sailfish 7.7 is installed as the firmware; and I am using Simplify 3D as my slicing software. Also, I have already set this printer up and have had many successful prints.

Okay, so… I am trying to level my bed as I haven’t used the printer for about a month now. It was unplugged which is the only thing that has changed from then to now but I wanted to make sure it was level before I began printing again.

When I began the bed leveling wizard I noticed right away that at the very least my x axis was way off.

I tried putting in the manual coordinates for the leveling screws too. The extruder did not move to the correct coordinates.

I opened the Machine Control Panel in Simplify to get the actual position readout for the axis and could calculate that they were off 112.5 on the X and 72.5 on the Y from the coords I was entering manually. This coincides with the origin offsets in the General Options>Machine screen. These are the defaults BUT have never been an issue before.

When I set the origins to zero, the build plate representation on the screen in Simplify shifts to the right as if my build plate and printer were not lined up. Again this is a first.

I have double checked that my firmware version on my printer was correct, as I suspected maybe being unplugged for so long may have had something to do with a reset. It still tells me Sailfish is installed.

I then upgraded to the newest version of Simplify and now my problem is even worse. I cannot make sense of the actual position readout and my intended coordinates and they no longer jive with the offsets in the General Options menu.

Thank God the Z-axis seems to be fine.

Guys and girls I am at a loss here. I really hope someone has run into this and it is an easy fix. I have been up and down the internet trying to figure this out. Please help!

Update: 15 minutes later.

So I uninstalled Simplify and reinstalled it. I opened it up and the first thing I did was hit “reset all settings” under the “help” menu. I closed the program and opened it back up and reconfigured it with my printer, checking to make sure the options in the Firmware Configuration were correct; “makerbot/sailfish” and “replicator 1 - dual extruder”.

The thing that makes me mad is that I did all that before, less the uninstall and reinstall.

And of course, like nothing was ever wrong… it works and everything lines up perfect.

Now time to print.

Hello,
I would first tray setting with the file dde SD card and not with Simplify

As a result, I also use simplify 3.0.2:
In Option -> Machine
Machine Type Cartesian robot
Build Volume X = 225, Y = 145, Z = 150,
Origin Offset X = 112, Y = .5 72.5, Z = 0.00,
Homming Direction X = Max, Max Y = Z = Min,
Filp Build table axis: Y is checked
Toolhead offsets: Tools0 X = 0 Y = 0, Tools1 X = 34 Y = 0
