Hi guys  i just build myself a anet a8, and i got it working so far that it actually prints. however, when printing a part, the first layer gets quite stuck to the raft, i have to wedge a knife in between the raft layer and the print and pry them off eachother, sadly, the print often gets pry marks as a result.

i print with pla at a nozzle temp of 190 and a bed temp of 70 as i have glass on it.

i have been printig with rafts ofc.

any ideas ? im printing from matterhackers

Rafts are usually not necessary with PLA, as long as you have a good flat surface for the first layer it will stick just fine, also I suggest aqua net unscented hairspray as a bed adhesive. Rafts are great for really small parts, and ABS on occasion.

Use glue sticks or rainnet or whatever cheap ultra super mega hol hair spray on the glass then when it’s done and cooled it will pop right off. Try not to use rafts or if you do Change the settings to make them ad thin as possible like 1 or 2 layers. Should solve your problem. Or you can use a peice of kapton tape you can get online in the size of your glass bed.
