My first / test print to gage my bed height/leveling and this happened…
I have tried (carefully) to remove the stuck filament using a razor blade after it soaked in rubbing alcohol and I cannot get it to lift off and I am concerned about scratching the bed.
I have a ;
Monoprice Mini Select V2. I have not tried heating the bed and repeating above as I thought I would post here first. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
One tip I read was turning an air can upside down and freeze it and then try and scrap it but I have yet to buy a can…
Looks like the first layer was a bit too close. This can cause the material to try to bond with the bed material.
One thing you could try and it might work is to make a print that covers that whole area. Print right over that spot with a solid print that is 10-20mm high. Make sure the first layer height is not too close.
The idea is that the new print will fuse to that old filament and then you may be able to lift the new print off the bed easier. Be very careful though.
What is the material?
