Interesting. I’d like to see esun (which I despise) and hatchbox reviews. My disagreement with the review in that video. He gave extra marks for the clear (non standard sized) spool because it allowed him to see how much filament was left. I find both of those points to be inaccurate and misinforming. 3D prints are by lenght and weight neither of which can be measured by the naked eye on therefore the clear spool is not an advantage. The spool being a non-standard shape (most likely a result of the clear plastic and cost) should give it negative marks as it requires retrofitting filament shelves and spool holders as well as causing issues in sizing space for filament and printers themselves. If you are judging the amount of filament left by sight, you are doing it wrong.
