Is there any filament I can use with my m200 that is capable of dissolving support?

HIPS filament is dissolvable in limonene. If you can print two types of filament at once, this could be an option.

ABS could be dissolved using Acetone but whole model would be dissolved as well (not only support)

No this is not possible zortrax M 200 is mono extrusion, you need a bi- extrusion to have a filament that is dissolved in water is a material dedicated to your production. The new zortrax Inventure is able to do this, on the M200 you must change the print head for the bi- extrusion can be an option in the future … I do not know…

Excuse me for my english

See you

How do you want to dissolve the support if the print itself is the same material? HIPS and ABS (acetone) are the only dissolvable filaments that Zortrax offers for the m200.

I print with PLA on a zortrax M200 and for simple elements the result is good.

Sorry, offtopic: My experience with PLA on the Zortrax is that the support and raft are extremely hard to remove and that some types of PLA burns (coloring agent).

Ontopic. I think that the answer is that the M200 has a single head so the question is mute.

Thanks all for your replies. Looks like the goal to release a dual extruder option/attachment is set at the end of the year. I apparently would have been sooner if it werent for the release of the inventure.

It’s actually possible to print with PLA on a Zortrax M200 and it yields amazing prints. You need a Z-Temp or similar temperature controller and a feeler gauge to properly set the Z-height.
