Hi All, I am new to 3d printing and so far, with my Anet 8, I have had reasonable success when printing both PLA and ABS. Recently though I have tried to print the gauntlet of a prosthetic hand (Phoenix 2.0) and as it is quite a large area compared to the rest of the component parts, after 40% into the print, it pulls the blue painters tape off the glass bed. Is this a temperature issue? I have the bed set to 110 degrees and the extruder to 240. Also I have had to resort to using heavy-hold hairspray in order to overcome lack of initial adhesion. Would the use of heat transfer paste between the glass plate and the Y table assist in controlling the bed temperature?

large pieces tend to wrap more easy. Did the hairspray resolve the problem? Increase the temperature around the print. Enclose the printer. Reduce the fan speed (perhaps even at 0).
