Hey all, I just got my first 3D printer about a week ago, (I got the MP Select Mini V2). and tonight I was doing a print, and part way through my print, the bowden tube came undone from the coupler on the feeder mechanism. When I noticed this, I cancelled the print and tried to get the bowden tube re-attached to the coupler, but to no luck. I then opened up the feeder mechanism, I noticed that what looks like a washer that is supposed to clamp down on the bowden tube completely broke apart. What should I do to fix this on short notice? (I tried looking for replacement parts for the feeder mechanism, and couldn’t find any in stock or for sale that ship to canada. And no place I could order a new feeder mechanism (the whole thing) would ship to my city. please help, I was hoping to get a few more prints done for christmas presents, but I’m dead in the water right now as my printer is unable to feed fillament to the hot end with the coupler in it’s current state.
Thank you for ansers and your time!
Hi, yes, those couplers can self-destruct. Here’s a link to a place to buy them, along
with other spare parts for the Mini. MP Select Mini V1 - Page 1 - GigDigit
Bowden tubes and their couplers are used by many 3D printers and the
parts are pretty much interchangeable.
