Extruder part falling off?

After about an hour of printing, a grating noise was produced. Upon cancelling the print, I noticed that on the left side of the extruder, a part seemed to be hanging off from it (see photo). I have owned this printer for about 2 years now and this is the first issue I have had with it (it is a classroom printer, so it gets used quite a bit).

Any thoughts on how to fix this? Thank you so much.

Yep, that is the fan duct. There should be a single screw that holds it in place on the side.
