I’ve been using my FlashForge Creator Pro consistently for a while now, and right after I finished a print, the extruder has stopped heating. As I try to heat, it just stays at room temperature (while preheating and trying to print). Ive check the external wires on top of the extruder and everything seems fine, but it still wont heat. If anyone has any tips to solve this… Thanksv
Was it cold to the touch? Coz if it is cold to the touch, then your connection from heating element to board must be compromised, and must open the bottom of the printer to check the termination of the wires with tester. If it is hot and you are not getting a reading, then the thermistor must be having the same issue as I have mentioned above. If all wires are connected well and you have checked with multi tester, then you may have a broken heater or thermistor. Hope this helps,.
I have has a reasonable number of thermocouples fail on Creator Pros, so that could be your problem. Does the printer display any kind of error message?
