Hi, I am currently wondering how I can print multicolor 3D objects with my “Ultimaker 2”. Is there any device I could get to enable my 3D printer colour prints? Thank you for your feedback!

You could try the Palette ( www.mosaicmanufacturing.com). I have no experience with the box, am a bit sceptical but the pictures look nice.
The palette only works with 1.75mm filament, so your Ultimaker needs a conversion to 1.75 also to make it work. But there is another option developed by Foehnsturm. May be it’s better to ask in the Ultimaker forum to get more specific answers. Edit: Here is a link: https://magnetic-tool-changer.com/
I wondering the same, please let me know if you find any answer to it.

Yes! https://magnetic-tool-changer.com/ is the most elegant for the UM2/2+!

Could you pass me the link where I the post cast if it is still available? I was never a member in a forum and get still lost when it is about navigating.

I considered the palette in my search but it is still too limited in the colour range. The other option developed my Foehnsturm looks interesting. I went though the forum post which helpted my quite a lot to understand the problems with the color printing in FDM printing. Of course there are exiting other modeling possibilities like the Carbon M1 but they are CRAZY expensive in maintenance and so on!! I posted something similar on the ultimaker forum, so far with the hint to palette+. Is there no specific material which changes its color after changing the pressure or heat?
