I received my 1 kg spool of esun silver color pla today and started printing with it. I noticed that the layer adhesion on my prints were very bad with the esun filament. I printed 3d benchy as a test with the following filaments:
- Brandless cheap PLA
- REAL filaments PLA
- Innofill PLA
- Rigid.ink PLA
- Esun PLA
I could break the layer adhesion on the esun print by holding the 3dbenchy between my thumb and index finger and applying moderate amount of pressure. I couldn’t do this with any of the other brand pla’s.
I printed the 3DBenchy with my Wanhao Duplicator I3 with the following cura settings:
Layer Height: 0.2mm
Wall and Top/Bottom thickness: 0.8mm
Infill: 20%
Print temp: 210 C
Bed temp: 55 C
Flow Rate: 100%
Retraction: 2mm / 25mm/s
Inner wall speed: 40
Outer wall speed: 30
Infill speed: 40
Top/Bottom speed: 40
Travel speed: 120
Cooling fan on at 100% starting at layer 2
Am I missing something here? Is this a known esun filament issue or is it just me having a bad spool?

same here, white pla, actually my prints seems like a book with many pages, the sad is that I have to spools ordered form different vendors with the actual same problem, I have always used esun petg with very good results, so I decide to go with pla, so actually seems I have 2 bad spools, hoping to get at least a partial refund
