Dripping filament

my filament has been dripping out of the nozzle before the print can start, resulting in a sphere like shape that hardens before the print can start. It messes up the entire print and I’m following the printing guidelines to the book. The filament is 1.75mm PLA

Your temps could be too high, or the nozzle is worn out.

I’ll try lowering the extruder temp by 20 C later today.
