Hey guys!

The great folks over at Simplify3D run a User spotlight series on their blog. It’s a good way to showcase ‘‘out-of-the-box’’/extreme prints made possible with Simplify3D.

Michael Balzer was able to turn MRI and CT scans into a precise 3D model of a tumor, which provided the advantage of being able to see the tumor at any angle (link to the full story below).

A few recent user spotlights on the Simplify3D blog:

If you are a pro slicer and use Simplify3D, we’d love to see the result of your prints here and know why you use it over other tools (plus your project might be featured on the Simplify3D blog)!

Nice initiative, Victor! Looking forward to seeing heaps of awesome prints

To make this a learning experience, I would appreciate the following information:

- resolution of print in mm

- material type and brand

- picture of the result

- additional noteworthy settings in s3d

I yet have a succesful print to produce using Simplify that I do not have any issues with.

Still keeping on though.
