I was looking into 3D printers and decided I want to get an SLS to broaden my range of possibilities. I couldnt find many desktop SLS printers and wanted to know if anyone could point me in the right direction of finding one. I found the Sintratec, but it is not on sale yet and I am in the US. If there arent any other desktop ones right now, what would the cheapest one be?
Thanks!

Hi there
I just posted a similar topic. I’ll share what I know and my research on the topic.
I went to TCT this year, primarily to see the Form Fuse. I was slightly disappointed. Its very big, the prints weren’t super great and it’s just been delayed again. I’ve had very early Makerbots etc and if you want to use them for work or any kind of manufacturer I think you need to let 6-12 months pass before you can rely on them.
The Sinterit Lisa seems to be the front runner for me. Its just had an upgrade, its mature and even though they didn’t have a stand at TCT, I spoke to one of the founders and a distributer where they had one on display. Only thing that puts me off is the build size which is realistically 120x130x90mm. Its also < €6000.
I think this is the only “desktop” machine I have seen <35KG.
They also have a “Bench top” machine almost ready bbut I think the €10K and the fact that the chamber is bigger etc is putting me off, although it prints some amazing materials.
Hope that helps, happy hunting!
