Delta wasp Turbo settings

I’m also looking for the default settings for my Delta wasp turbo 2040.

I cannot seem to upload the files for the machine settings.

Are they written down somewhere?

I also have trouble loading to the sd card from cura

Otherwise, tell me what kind of settings you need.

What happens to your SD card? Anyway you can copy the GCODE files as an USB key.

Hi Jim,

I hope that my tutorial will be useful.

If you need, you can load the setting from a GCode file.

If you open the menu ‘File’ from the Cura menubar, you find the ‘load profile from GCode’ command.

This command do what you’re looking for.

Thank you this was the easy part.

I was wondering if you have a default list for the raft/brim/speeds/ etc?

I’ll look at the sample gcode files to see what they are set at

the fist prints were coming out great but didn’t stay attached to the plate.

I don’t have the glass base I was given the stick glue but think I’ll clean up and get some hairspray tomorrow.

Hi, I will complete the tutorial as soon as possible.

If you have the stainless steel print bed, it could be easier tho keep the objects attached.

I never used the glue. I use the airspray every time. When you go to buy it, keep in mind that the cheaper you buy, the better it paste.

Avoid to buy too high quality hair spray. I don’t know the brands you have in USA, so I have no suggestion to give you, but you can ask to somenone in your area.

Pay attention to bed levelling: too high distance from printing bed and nozzle on first layer can cause detachments.

Anyway: If you print PLA you can add from 5 to 15 brim loops. I use RAFT very rarely, never used with PLA.

If you print ABS or other more difficult filaments, use 15-20 loops of brim and more spray on the base.

There are no fixed rules, it depends from type of filament, temperatures, fan settings, shape of the object, etc.

For PLA and PET-G keep the fan settings 30-60%. For ABS, Nylon, ecc keep fan settings 10-40%.

However, the life of 3D printers dedicated people to is a life of experiments: each release should be analyzed individually.

Hello,

WASP has some downloadable configurations for cura (.ini files). You can download them here:

personalfab.it - This website is for sale! - 3d print Resources and Information.

Once they are downloaded (and unzipped) upload them in Cura by: File>Open Profile.

Warning* Most of the settings are set to Turbo speed, make sure you have a 2040 turbo or slow down your print/travel speeds.
