i bought a used da cinci 1.0 and it been modified to repertier .92 has e3d head but can not get it to print with pla i can put pla into unit and turn on to 180-210 and get the pla to go through if i manually push it thru the ed3 when i try to print out something the unit looks like it printing but nothing comes out . then when i try to do it by hand again it is clogged. have to un assemble to clean it out… any help would be nice
This can happen if you’re printing PLA directly after printing ABS. Since ABS melts at a significantly higher temperature, you need to make sure to push enough PLA through at the ABS temperature, to clean it out.
If you’ve already done this I would recommend putting a few feet of cleaning filament through at a higher (240c) temperature to see if that helps, before going back to PLA.
