3D printer is MP select mini V2. And I’m using Cura with Windows 10 to setup model and then slice. Then, I save to micro SD plugged into PC. Card came with printer. Then I put SD in the mini. And start printing.

No problem. I now thought if I connect USB cable between PC and the mini, I would see some visible action that printing was taking place. I see model on screen, but that’s it. Is Cura supposed to get data from the printer and display it?
