hi there,
I got my anycubic kossel linear plus the weekend and started printing.
So far I found out printing a brim is a bad bad idea as it is hard to remove from the heatbedcover
Bed leveling was a pain but finally worked. The autolevel hepls but correcting -Z values is difficult due the small step size and it seems to forget my stored values sometimes. But now it works.
But I have mature problems in print quality not sure why.
Using cura 3.1 as from ubuntu linux sources I sliced models from thingiverse.
Al are printed (30mm/sec) in thin layer .12…15mm but I get broken surfaces.
Trying to print a closed torus like object (filament cooler) the outer walls are very thin, the material (PLA) is in fine layers but the outer walls are not fully closed and have sponge-like small openings all over.
Anyone in here might tell me his cura version and settings (screenshot maybe) for good print results with the Kossel printer?
Thanks in advance!
I know this is a really late reply, but…
I’ve been trying to figure out why my Son’s new Linear Plus is printing like . I found a Cura profile online and uploaded it… After a couple pathetic Benchys, I decided to check the machine settings. What I found made me wonder.
Check in the Cura settings, the default filament diameter is 2.85!! No wonder it’s under extruding!!
Anyway, hope this helps someone.
Thanks for this, it really helped me.
Cheers
