I recently had my nozzle from the extruder stop heading when trying to insert new filament. Any Reason why this may happen and does anyone know anything about how to fix it such as pluggin in wire and such.
Do you get any errors in your log? My temp prob sometimes gets unplugged and it wont heat until it can see the correct temperature due to the thermal runaway script in the firmware.
When the extruder does not heat:
Try disconnecting the power cable for a few seconds.
perform the operation again.
If it still does not heat up, it means that you have a fault in the thermal fuse, remove the lid of the extruder and you will see it very close to the nose, get one of the same characteristics and replace it, when welding again the exessive heat will damage it again.
