How to make my printer - printing x and y correct dimension?

simple: circle 5cm, x dimension is 5cm, y is 4.9cm od 49mm

Scale it in your slicer to 101%.

The materials are shrinking. ABS is shrinking more than PLA.

All printed object not ok. 1mm wrong dimension, printed with aps and pla identicly error.

How to set y and x steps per mm, from makebot not posible, this is wrong. Y and x not identical steps.

Ahh sorry I didn’t see that X and Y are different.

I had the same problem after I changed the linear bearings.

The Y-Axis moved to stiff.

Reasons: to stiff bearing (misaligned) or to stiff drivebelt and/or one side is stiffer than the other.

mm/step should always be the same on both axis since the drive transmission is the same.
