Yes. It works well. That’s all I use. Glass with 3m blue tape and simplify3d.
I’m pretty new to this and have recently started using glass (mirror tile actually) with hairspray (you need the RIGHT hairspray). Get the build plate leveled correctly and those prints are actually hard to get off.
Yes, I’m doing that, I’ve got a sheet of borosilicate glass, put a layer of PET film on that and then I’m putting ABS juice on that, sticks like madness, pops right off once it cools down enough as the glass doesn’t shrink.
It’s the best way, and the only way. Don’t use a glue stick. Use aquanet extra hold unscented. Quick spray and that’s it. The thicker the spray and the hotter the glass during the print the harder it will be to get off so don’t go ham. I honestly think it’s too much work to make abs glue or use pet film.
That’s all I print on. I use a 3/8" thick piece of glass, and aqua net hairspray (any hairspray with vynil should work). I wouldn’t do it anuly other way now that I’ve tried that. It’s hard to get your parts off the glass, so throw it in the freezer for 5 minutes and it will fall right off. I’ve only tried it with pla.
Yes, works well, couldn’t get hairspray to work but thinned pva adhesive works a treat.

Yes… glass is the way to go… I use glue stick and works great… best way to print…

I added a 1/4" borosilicate glass bed to my CTC Bizer and it’s been fantastic ever since. Everything prints flawlessly with just a thin film of Elmer’s purple washable glue stick. ABS, PLA, PLA-PHA, Flexible PLA, Wood PLA, conductive PLA, PETG, Polycarbonate, TPU… Everything!
Every several prints, I scrape off the remaining glue with a razor blade and re-apply. I’d like to see someone try that on some ‘picture frame glass’ and not have it explode after a couple thermal cycles.

For my CTC 3D printer bed, I cut a sheet of glass from an old flat bed scanner, then bordered the edges with a strip of capton tape, then secured the glass with some printed corner brackets making sure that they are level with the glass, I have printed several parts in PLA now, and have never had to use glue or spray to remove them when cooled, my bed is set to 110

A stupid question! I’ve bought the printer yesterday 
In order to adjust Z with glass, what can I 've to do? is it possible to enter a sw Offset (I have not find it) or I have to manually adjust the height with the screws below the printer bad? thenks Fra
