is it tricky to do can i brick it and if i did brick it can i recover it

My opinion is, if you do not have a reason to do so, do not upgrade.
Read the sailfish manual and follow the directions EXACTLY, including manually recording some settings.
It is possible to “brick” the printer, although it is not difficult to flash.
If you dont follow the directions exactly, you will reflash and then have incorrect settings.
If you do brick it, you will have to fix it with a programmer, or borrow one, or find someone who can do it for you.
If it has a Android controller, it can always be flashed again. I do not remember if that unit has a Ardrino Uno control or not.
