my power supply is so noisy its driving me mad its that bad sounds like there is something stuck in the fan so I thought I would replace it but where do i get a good one ones on ebay are £18
but I have seen other ones on other sites that look the same I just want a nice quiet power supply that’s not going to burn down my house anyone no of any seen some on E3d site but dont no if there any good
I’ve got an STL that will let you print a new lid and adaptor so you can fit a bigger 80mm fan in there if you like - I’ve got an Artic Cooling F8 in mine with a resistor to drop it to 12v, almost silent, runs cooler too.
is it a full guide what value is the resistor
Just the STL’s, but I printed them on the same machine so you shouldn’t have any problems, I’ll upload them tommorow and link here, as it’s 2am here atm!

There’s a lid and the fan bit to suit it, works with 80x25mm fans (so most standard PC fans), you’ll want a resistor to drop the voltage to suit a 12v PC fan though, IIRC I used a 120ohm 3w resistor.
