With the recent announcement of the new MSPaint of VR from Oculus called “Medium” it’s a good time to take a look at what the creative tool options will be for the next year or two. There is not enough emphasis on making your creations available for the 3D printing pipeline, but that will change soon enough. The success of each of these listed tools in the 3DP space will be import/export flexibility.
This info is useful to all Hubs as the number of VR tool users/content creators without access to their own 3D printers increases exponentially with consumer hardware releases.
Medium - https://twitter.com/OculusMedium Those who use ZBrush will take to this new format quickly.

MineCraftVR - https://share.oculus.com/app/minecrift Printing MC creations is not new but the upcoming social boom in the content creation will see exports flying out to Hubs. Beware a bubble.
Graffiti 3D - https://share.oculus.com/app/graffiti-3d An indie app like Medium but already has stated mesh import and *export to compete with medium.

VRCLAY - http://vrclay.com/ Many have seen this demo video and know it is another ZBrush like sculptor. Export is available.
MakeVR - http://sixense.com/makevr This program is geometry based using primitives with a social element. The lack of foresight in export flexibly may have contributed to the failure of kickstarter. Sixense is now focused of their hardware and MakeVR is in limbo.
