Hello,

first time I use this platform so I don’t now who I’m talking to but apparently creatbot expert

So, i’m looking forward to buy a large volume (at least 600x600x600mm) and found the creatbot D600… it looks perfects, but, there is always a “hic” as we say in french !!!

For 10 000$ it looks to good to be real, large build volume, double extrusion, high temperature and excelent quality… We are wondering what is wrong with this printer and how is the custumer service incase of a probleme.

Thak you so much

Hi Carlitototo,

Just saw your message.

Can hardly say that I am a Creatbot expert since I’ve only had my Creatbot for (almost) four months. Am at 1260 printing hours so far and still doing fine.

Have had no real issues with the printer, other than a blocked nozzle due to too much retraction at first (was using the same amount of retraction as my other printers). On the Creatbot, 3-4 mm usually is enough.

So far, I liked it enough that I just ordered a second Creatbot DE Plus model last week which should arrive at the end of next week I hope.

Am so busy, I can really use the extra printer and I have noticed I am getting more orders now for larger prints that don’t fit most other printers. I really like the big build platform (400x300x520 mm on de DE Plus). Gives you much more freedom with printing. I did remove the Buildtak surface. It’s not bad, but it got damaged rather quickly when trying to remove prints with a spatel.

As for the quality of the D600, it seems to have a different printhead that the DE Plus.

If I were you, I would just contact Creatbot directly (info@Creatbot.com) and ask them everything you want to know. I usually get very prompt replies from them.

Just remember that the D600 is really a big printer. My DE Plus at 62 liters build volume is already 6 times bigger than an Ultimaker 2+. The D600 is 3.5 times bigger yet!

I think the Creatbot is relatively cheap because it doesn’t have all kinds of frills other manufacturers are putting in.

Just a sturdy and stable frame, good solid guide rods, a good leadscrew, a good printhead and little else.

I really like the filament error detection system. But there is no WiFi, no camera which I, personally, don’t really need.

Here is an example of a print made with a Creatbot D600.

Did not make this myself.

The wallsocket next to the picture gives you an idea of the size of the print.

Do not know any details however, so cannot help you there.

Hello,

looks cool to me !!!

I contacted creatbot support and they give me back custumers feedbacks including your feedback talking about this post, thought it was funny xD

But the strange thing is that the picture you gave me was first taken by a company in russia who as a D600… How did you get it ?! Just seems funny how liitle the 3D printer world is

Thank you for your quick reply, very helpfull !!!

Carlitototo

No problem at all.

If you do get the D600, please let us know how you like it. Even with the DE Plus printer, I have had to cancel some orders because the parts were too big to print.
