anyone own one of the original machines, as would like to upgrade the hot end and not sure if its even up gradable or even worth doing, the main board is a creatbot 4.1. an idea is to strip it down and upgrade it with new every thing so more or less just the frame is original. any one have any ideas on this. or just build a new one ?

hi david the photos are a bit hard to see but it looks like it has peek assy if you want to change it to a metal hot ends do not do that or what will happen is it will be sticking to the nozzle adapter and keep jamming and drive you mad what is happening is that some filament makers put in a additive to stop this creatbots filament has this .the 2kgs that come with the printer always prints good till you try other brands that will not work because of the additive is not in it a lot of countries it is not to be used i have tried a lot of fillaments even oz ones they do not work, also wenotion in china it is only in some of its colours .i got a lot of filament from the3dprinter and they did not believe me because it runs in my dx02 because it is a peek assy it wasn’t till we had it tested that we found out why it would not run in my dz02s thank you rick 3dwise

Yes, it is the peak system. it prints great, but wanted to try new filaments. got a sample of the wood and it just bunged it up and had to strip it down to clean it all out. think will just build another one from scratch. we dont have a maker space or anything like that where i live so will be kinda interesting. thanks for your time. 20mm calibration cube and the tug boat torture test printing.
