Hi guys,
I have a working delta printer /Tevo Little Monster) at home and I’m very happy with it. But now I have a problem. I want to control an external pump (Single Syringe, Nanoliter, Programmable Infusion/Withdrawal Pump, Programmable Touch Screen - Legato 130) for another application. I have to control it with the firmware of my delta printer. Does someone has an idea how to realize it?
My idea is to connect the pump to the plug of the second extruder. Maybe I have to use an extra arduino board to transform the signals given from the firmware of the printer to the syringe pump.
Or I use the software of the company (Adagio Syringe Pump Control Software for Legato Syringe Pumps) and use an API to connect them?
Is this a good idea or does someone has another/better idea?
Thanks in advance
Thingverse has a simpler setup for syringes and will be easier to implement. If I find mistaken the little monster uses a smoothie board and will be easy to change setting with the config file on the SD card. You could use the extruder stepper wiring to connect to the syringe pump.
