Has anyone tried printing the conductive ABS by Makergeeks? I’m curious how well this filament prints and how well it works…

@AlexDick @Angel_LaHash do you guys have any experience with this filament?

Ill give you all the links i have, but every thing can faked to look like it works, so im not 100% sure on it

Awesome! I think I’m going to buy some and try it out. I’ll leave a review once I do some experiments! Thank Y’all!

I believe the MakerGeeks and most “conductive” abs filaments on the market are in fact “dissipative”. The Proto-pasta conductive PLA is actually conductive enough for low current applications. The kickstarter is complete and we should have the material up for pre-sale shortly with shipment after the kickstarter in the March/April time frame. Hope you give it a try and have a positive experience!

Are they just adding carbon to the mix?

i was intrested in this as well… I still would like to know if any one has Worked with it…

I did look in to buying some of it, but postage and cost from the US was DAM dear for what it was.
So dear im working on a design so that a PCB just sits in it than using this flament.

Could also ask Joshua at Makergeeks - he’s been honest with every question I’ve ever had.

My understanding is that most (if not all) of these conductive filaments are slightly resistive and possibly slightly capacitive. As long as you keep that in mind you should be ok.
