I don’t have a replicator 2 but i can give you my settings anyways :

bed tep. :70°C (lower possible)

nozzle tep. : 260°C (for good bridging on higher speed)

speed : up to 100 mm/s for infill and around 80-60% for outline and solid surfaces

Minimal time per layer (slowed down speed when layertime would be too small) : 12sec

These are the general settings if you need settings for retraction etc. i can give you these but keep in mind that i use Simplify3d.

Hi Marius,.

I also Simplify3d but still not so good to know.

more tell me where I must enter the values go away but a screenshot

Sadly i can not send you my .fff file so there are the things that you need to adjust depending on the model you are printing.

I’ve added pictures of my settings.

You have to adjust the speed settings depending on the model. i use 32% infill overlap for non-solid models and 20% overlap for 100% infill.

Additionally you should keep the speed for solid infill (bridging over the infillpattern) at maximum 50mm/s when using 30% infill or less. Otherwise the solid infill layers can’t bridge over the patter.

Adjust coasting as followed:

Thick layers => less coast

thin layers => long coast

these are my average values :

layerHeight coasting distance in mm

0,25 1/1,5

0,2 2,0

0,1 3,0/3,5

0,05 3,5/4,0

no extra restart distance if your printhead is fast enough.

You have to make a large brim out of the skirt if you experience lifting edges.

Use PLA as supportmaterial it doesn’t fuse (is fuse the correct term?) with XT so that you can set the distance of support to model to 0,00mm. Choose temperature and placement etc. depending on your PLA. Overhang angles of 50°C are ok, but that depends more on your printer so you have to test at what angle support has to start.

NOTE: PLA doesn’t stick to XT at all, removable without any marks. However that can mean that PLA that gets printed on a layer of XT could fall off during the print, i did not jet test that.

Also you have to adjust flowrate.

I use 260c for the print head and 85c on the glass bed. 80mm/s print speed 150mm/s movement speed. Retraction,etc maker ware standard. I use hairspray on the bed to holdout down the print.

Hope this helps!

I print on a Creatr HS and use gluestick as adhesive. I successfully printed on speeds up to 100mm/s for infill.
