Anyone have an issue with the top feeder stepper motor the feeds the filament down? I have a jam and it will not feed…Any tips on getting access to the feeder b4 I start taking it all apart?
It’s quite easy to get to the Flux filament motor. Are you certain the problem is with the motor and not within the printing module? You can test that by setting the printer to remove the filament and manually pulling the filament out, while pressing the filament release button. If performing a removal and insertion does not clear your problem, but the filament feeds, the problem is likely in the hot-end.
Here’s a link to a pdf with an embedded video for accessing the filament sensor as well as the area surrounding the filament motor and gear:

I have that problem every time I change filament from the gear not properly meshing with the filament. I disengage the gear and pull the filament back out and try again often 2nd time it works as if nothing was wrong which is really annoying. I believe it’s because once the filament goes into the feed hole it almost emediatly gets bent down (I found this out after taking the top off the replace some fulty electronics which flux where great about helping me through). If this is the same problem your getting where it dosent even make
it to the hot end the trick seems to be loading the filament into the feed hole as level as possible and I think a bit of luck!

One little hack you can try… Grab a knife and shape the filament end into a point. Helps it hit the hole and not jam on the edge. I do this with my Taz 5 all the time - I don’t need to, but it makes feeding easier…
