Hi, my super sweet cat had an unfortunate accident and had to have her rear leg amputated. The vet, at our request, amputated the leg at the “ankle,” which is the fairly high up the leg on the rear leg. The vet left most of her “shin” bone. We hoped that we could 3D print a prosthesis, but I’ve been surprised that there don’t seem to be any designs online for such a thing. Does anyone have any design suggestions? Anyone have any practical suggestions? Thanks!

Hey @Dan_Kirkeby, I’m afraid the only organization dealing with animal prosthetics that I know of is Pawsthetics. They managed to get the necessary funding through Indiegogo at the beginning of the year - feel free to check them out here. Hope this helps!
Good day,
If you can give me a basic description of size (where it mounts to hip), length overall, and how far do you want to go. Hand drawing would be fine. I would certainly look at a design and 3D print for you.
Hi, my cat had the same issue, could you help me if I send sizes etc?
This doesn’t seem to exist anymore
I’m sure I could be of some service to you. If you have any cad data or dimensions I would be glad to help. I’m at the hospital at the moment with youngest daughter who is giving birth to first child so bare with me on response time.
Hi Dan, I hope your daughter is now great and at home. I don´t know how to move forward with this?

How tall in MM’s is your cat, and how long is the remaining leg? from that I should be able to draw something for you.
