It goes through the leveling procedure and tells me to loosen the first screw to decrease the distance. I slowly loosen the screw … and loosen, and loosen, and loosen, until the screw FALLS OFF, and I never get the satisfying “beep” that says the distance is right. I e-mailed support and they have not responded in any way. What to do?!?
If it is like one of my other printers I would loosen all three equally to let the bed raise uniformly and get it closer to the nozzle. I tend to run through the level 2-3 times and at first to just get the bed closer each time then finally get a good level.
Also look for any obstructions to the bed.
