Hi guys,
My work have recently asked me to looking into buying a 3D printer for them.
Experience is pretty low, I’ve used basic machines over the last few years for my product design degree, however I always had technicians around if something didn’t go to plan! No one else in the company is familiar with printers.
The budget is £5-10k ($6-13k), they’re not really sure what they’re looking for but it will be used for prototyping medical products. We would ideally like to have a machine that is either easy to set up or something that can be set up by a professional in the UK.
Any recommendations/advice you could give me would be much appreciated!
Something like a Formlabs Form 2?

Thanks! I’ll look into it. I only really know Makerbots but I’ll look into Formlabs Form 2 and maybe Ultimaker and try and give them some pros and cons.
Hi Buddy,
This is based on your requirement. What’s your requirement: colour or only black and white printing, how many prints you need per day, what kind of quality you want and what is the exact purpose of buying a printer?
After analysing these factors, you will be capable of shortlisting a few products, amongst which, you can finalize the one considering your budget. I will recommend low-cost 3D printed Prosthesis in healthcare.
And if you are looking to buy 3D printers for your work, you can visit 3D Printer Bay and ensure to buy quality products only.
Thanks.
