Hi all,
I needed to change the filament spool, and stupidly cut off the old filament above the extruder, then extruded the last bit instead of withdrawing it.
So now there’s a bit of the last spool that has been fed past the extruder and is stuck in the hot end, so it’s blocked when I try and push the new spool filament through.
Stupid, I know. I’ve tried to get to it with narrow nosed pliers (won’t fit between the extruder and hot end) and tweezers (can’t get enough pressure).
Can anyone tell me how to clear the hot end?
BTW, it’s a T-Rex 2+ 500.
